Create rhythms and sound textures from any sound you import into the program, simply by moving and manipulating the IXI Slicer Beta nodes and indicators correctly. It is an application designed to create sound and music in an unconventional way.

IXI Slicer Beta has the following function and idea. Generically, slice is what this program does with your sounds. The slices of sound are superimposed on each other, and can be manipulated and created according to the control node position, represented in the application interface by a box.

The slice nodes (in colour) control the volume (vertical position) and the tone (horizontal) of each slice or sound fragment, while the control nodes are for parameters like length, depth or the start point of each slice.

Slicer is completely free and is built using Mirra, a Python 2D graphic library with open code licence, developed expressly by IXI, the company that created IXI Slicer.
